How to prepare
A little preparation helps make your results accurate. Our staff will tell you exactly what applies to your tests.
Tip: Book a token for the morning so you can give fasting samples early and have breakfast sooner.
Fasting tests
Fasting sugar and lipid profile usually need 8–12 hours without food. Plain water is allowed.
Medicines
Tell us about any medicines you take. Don't stop prescribed medicines unless the doctor advises it.
Urine & stool samples
Collect in the sterile container provided — a fresh, early-morning sample is best for urine.
Bring old reports
Previous reports and prescriptions help the doctor compare results and track progress.
